Some healthcare providers have fees which are different to my rates detailed above. If these are less than my own rate the shortfall is made up by the client.
Cancellation and non-attendance:
If less than 48 hours notice is given before cancelling a session the full session fee is charged, regardless of the reason.
Why choose a Clinical Psychologist?
Clinical Psychologists are leaders in providing the highest quality therapy, aiming to reduce psychological distress and promote psychological well-being in clients.
Clinical Psychologists are always trained to doctorate level through courses that focus on both research and practice. It is a legal requirement that Clinical Psychologists register with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), meaning that the title “Clinical Psychologist” ensures peace of mind that you are working with someone trained to the highest level.
Clinical Psychologists have specialist knowledge of many different treatment approaches and are trained to help people with a wide range of different problems. This means that therapy is bespoke and driven by the client, rather than trying to fit the client into a specific model.
With my knowledge, skills and experience in delivering evidence-based psychotherapy, I can help you:
understand what's causing your problems and develop an understanding of your inner world
become aware of the things that might be keeping you stuck, making things worse and stopping you from achieving your goals
gain a clearer understanding of difficult emotions and learn different ways of reacting to situations
make effective and meaningful changes in your life
feel more confident in coping with life's challenges
Where are you based?
I offer appointments in Elephant & Castle, South London (SE17).
When do you offer appointments?
I currently offer appointments on weekdays during the day and evenings.
How long does therapy last?
Assessment and therapy sessions last for 50 minutes. The number of assessment and therapy sessions we have is flexible, but will partly be guided by the nature or severity of the problem you would like help with. I usually work with people on a focussed issue, meeting weekly or fortnightly, typically over a period of two to six months.
Are sessions confidential?
Yes, everything we discuss is confidential. The only exception to this is if I have concerns about your safety or the safety of others, or if criminal matters are disclosed to me. In these cases I may have to break confidentiality, but I would endeavour to discuss this with you first.
How can I pay?
Payment can be made by bank transfer prior to the session.
